Media

This page contains documents and information that is not in The Television Media Paradigm book. It has been added to further document my efforts to hold the CBC accountable to its viewers, and to the taxpayers who fund their operations.

The following email was written the day before my last day of work at the CBC, after being let go due to budgetary restraints and changes in operational standards, leading to massive job redundancies and lay offs.  As I did not have access to the group email that covered the employees across the country, I did painstakingly spend an entire evening amassing smaller groups in all the provinces and was able to send this letter to most of the employees across Canada… including the president.  I was aware of the possibility that my email account would be de-activated by 11 pm the day before my last day at work and made sure I had sent all the emails just before the deadline.  I did check my emails shortly afterwards and as expected, my account had been de-activated and I no longer had access to my emails.

Email sent to CBC employees across Canada before my last day of work, pleading for adherence to responsible journalism and media accountability.

I recently received a letter from management requesting I take part in a survey to share my thoughts on the CBC and its future. Contrary to the survey’s assured anonymity, I have chosen instead, to openly share these thoughts and ideas.

My name is Rene Normandeau. Some of you already know me, most of you don’t. I have worked at the CBC for almost a quarter of a century now, out of our Winnipeg location.

During this time, it has been my honor to have worked with some of the most competent and professional media personnel in the industry. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all of you whom I consider mentors and also friends, for your dedication and professionalism.

Last year I celebrated my 10th anniversary at the CBC (was not permanent until 10 years ago) upon which I received my prestigious 10th year anniversary pin. I would like to thank the management staff for taking a cut in their approximate 10 million dollar a year incentive-based compensation budget, without which I might not have received the coveted 40 cent pin for 10 years of service.

As an aside, I would like to point out that a cut of approximately half the i.b.c. for just one year, could have secured a job for my friend and I for the next 40 years. Alternatively, our positions have now become redundant due to budget cuts. Oh well, que sera sera, at least I have a keepsake that, for many years to come, can be duly admired by my jeans and t-shirts.

All kidding aside, as the purpose of this letter is not as a last send off of a bitter employee, but as a testimony of a lifetime of observation of the ins and outs of mainstream media and the role we play, as well as our accountability to what is, and should be, news.

Marc-Philippe Laurin, CMG Branch president at CBC, calls the change unprecedented. “This is a dangerous road to go down,” he comments. “And make no mistake, this is not about the money. The Conservative government is effectively modifying the Broadcasting Act to inject itself into decisions such as staffing that have a major impact on everything that’s done at the CBC.”
http://www.cbc.radio-canada.ca/en/media-centre/2013/05/may-1/

The CBC has raised its own concerns about Bill C-60, telling the federal government’s finance committee in a letter two months ago the changes would strip the board “of its two fundamental responsibilities: To ensure responsible supervision of the corporation’s activities and its independence from the government of the day.”

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/cbc-rejects-ad-critical-of-harper-governments-influence-on-cbc/article13339441/

Bill C-60 has passed and received royal assent and is now law.

The statements expressed in the preceding quotes are very meaningful. The control of media is, and always has been, a vital resource of fascist governments. Freedom of the press is vital to securing the rights of the individual. A watchdog cannot duly perform his duties when in the control of the wolves.

I would however ask, what makes anyone think that we are not already controlled by the government?

One might think of that as a foolish statement considering we did cover the fact that the government in power has just passed a bill which now “has all the markings of an attempt to turn the CBC into a state broadcaster”, Carmel Smyth, National president, CMG

We have also covered the disgraceful behavior of the Harper government’s position when it was decided that his staff would control who gets to ask question from the press gallery on parliament hill. Very well done and explained by George Stroumboulopoulos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvE9EN4YPGM

A careful observation of the structure of our daily newscasts and its contents however does not paint a picture of a government watchdog.

Experience has shown to me that all the government has to do to get a message across is to send a press release. We will immediately send out a cameraman and journalist to cover the story or make a quick voice over regarding the subject in question, and put in on air for the public to absorb.

Journalists walk in to work in the morning, get assigned a story, run out to get footage, run back to write the story and run it through to editing to be then on time to make the 6 o’clock news. There is no time for real research to really find out the truth about anything meaningful, nor is it even important.

Covering sports, arts, culture, entertainment, car crashes, accidents, house fires, and other such subject matter is irrelevant to this discussion as it is in my opinion, not news worthy and serves only as a distraction to real news, which is the searching and uncovering of hard facts and truths that may serve as a source of information which might be valuable to the general public in securing our rights and our freedoms.

Do you really think the story of a high school teenager who wants to wear her pajama pants at school should make it on national news? In case you are not aware, it did make The National.

Do you think we are free?

Interviewing a woman who was protesting at a G20 summit in Toronto, she states that it is good that we live in a free country where we are allowed to protest and that we can voice our opinions to our leaders. If we truly lived in a free country we would not need permission to protest and the protestors were stuck in a protest zone miles away from where the meeting was taking place, so in what possible way is she voicing her opinion to the leaders?

False assumptions and conclusions.

When the newly elected president of the US, Obama, came to visit our country as his first international outing, we were ready with cameras and journalists and as many remotes as we could possibly put together with our resources at hand. Continuing coverage on newsworld included hosts, experts, advisors, politicians etc… We got a glimpse of Obama walking in the parliament building with Harper, and our panelists and journalist and experts, guessed and assumed that they were going to talk about the economy and they were going to talk about trade and Canada/US relations etc… And after a lengthy secret meeting with our Prime Minister to which none of our cameras were allowed, our faithful leaders came out to a press conference and told us that they talked about the economy and about trade and relations, to which our panelists quickly asserted their rightful position.

The fact is that no one actually knew what really transpired in their meeting and every single second of our coverage were guesses and opinions given by people who had absolutely no clue what was said in their meeting.

Even if they did talk about the subjects they told us they spoke about, they did not enlighten us to one single fact or conclusion.

The highlight of the trip was Obama’s walk through Ottawa where he proceeded to consume a famous beaver tail purchased from a local shop. We then went to one of our correspondents at a remote at the airport where a journalist had been sitting out of the action all day and was visibly miffed at this fact as well as the fact that she had just lost her background of the Air Force One jet.

“I live just down the street from where Obama is walking right now:”, she proceeded to tell us, “if I was there I could have invited him over to my place.” (loosely translated)

This entire coverage was a disgrace to true journalism and resembled more a group of teeny boppers at a Hillary Duff concert than a newscast.

Our elected officials are telling us that the air we breathe is killing the planet, that there are terrorists everywhere and they need to protect us and keep us safe from virtually anything they can think of and are creating new laws on a daily basis that are never fully researched or covered by the news.

The Public Health Act of Manitoba:

46(1) In order to investigate a case or suspected case of a communicable disease, a medical officer or a public health nurse or other person authorized by a medical officer may examine any pupil, patient or resident of a school, daycare, hospital, personal care home, or other facility or place that provides care or treatment.

Consent not required
46(2) An examination may take place without the consent of the person being examined or the owner, operator or person in charge of the facility.

In other words, a medical officer can “examine” our kids or anyone in a hospital, daycare etc….or “other facility” without their consent. What is “other facility”?

In the public health act it defines:

“laboratory” means
(a) a laboratory as defined in section 119 of The Health Services Insurance Act, but does not include a place where the diagnostic examination or treatment of persons is performed solely by means of radiation emitting or non-radiation emitting medical imaging devices; or
(b) any other facility designated as a laboratory in the regulations

Definitions

Now go to the HSI act regulations (b):

119 In sections 120 to 130,
“laboratory” means a place where
(a) the diagnostic examination or treatment of patients is performed by means of radiation emitting or non-radiation emitting medical imaging devices, or
(b) operations and procedures, including the collection of specimens from the human body, are performed for the purpose of obtaining information for diagnosis, prophylaxis or treatment,

In other words, anywhere that they collect “specimens” from the human body is a laboratory and they can “examine” anyone they want, wherever they want and collect specimens from anyone and do all of this without their consent.

Entry into premises in public health emergency
83(6) When a medical officer reasonably believes there is a serious and immediate threat to public health due to a health hazard or a communicable disease, he or she may
(a) enter and inspect any place or premises, including a dwelling, at any time and without a warrant; and
(b) exercise any of his or her powers under this Act for the purpose of preventing, eliminating, remedying, reducing or otherwise dealing with the threat.

Right to contact counsel may be delayed if public health threat
96(3) The opportunity to exercise the right to counsel under subsection (1) is subject to any delay that is reasonably necessary to prevent a threat to public health from arising or becoming worse because of the exercise of the right.

In other words, a medical officer can enter and inspect your home, detain you and deny you the right of habeus corpus. The right to counsel may be “delayed” indefinitely under this act.

And they can do this without a warrant of any kind…..the medical officer has but to give the word…

Oral orders — medical officer
100(1) A medical officer may make an order orally under any of the following sections if he or she reasonably believes that, in the time necessary to make a written order, the threat to public health might worsen:

If you are one of those who likes to rat on others, they even have protection for you…..

PROTECTION OF PERSONS WHO REPORT
No retaliation
104 No person shall discipline, suspend, demote, dismiss, discharge, harass, interfere with or otherwise disadvantage another person, or threaten to do any of those things to another person who, in good faith,
(a) complies with a requirement to report or provide information under this Act; or
(b) voluntarily reports or provides information about a health hazard under section 40.

And if one of our elected officials screw up, they cannot be blamed…..

LIABILITY PROTECTION
Protection from liability

106(1) No action or proceeding may be brought against the minister, the chief public health officer, a director, a medical officer, an inspector, a health officer, a public health nurse or any other person acting under the authority of this Act, the regulations or a municipal by-law for anything done or not done, or for any neglect,
(a) in the performance or intended performance of a duty under this Act, the regulations or a municipal by-law; or
(b) in the exercise or intended exercise of a power under this Act, the regulations or a municipal by-law;
unless the person was acting in bad faith.

If you do not comply, they are authorized to use any force necessary to strip you of every god given right and do with you as they please.

Reasonable force may be used
107 A director, medical officer, inspector, health officer, public health nurse or other person who is required or authorized under this Act or a municipal by-law to do anything or prevent anything from being done may use such reasonable force as is necessary to accomplish what is required or what he or she is authorized to do.

This is but one example of the myriad of laws, rules, regulations, legislation, bills and acts that we let govern our lives and are replete with such fascist sections and paragraphs. It is in my opinion, completely irresponsible of us to not intensely cover and dissect every new legislation and report our findings to the public which we serve.

“”So what is the Canada-China Investment Treaty? Simply put, it is the most significant investor-state agreement signed by Canada since NAFTA. Only this time our “partner” is the communist government in Beijing, an authoritarian regime with an appalling record on human rights –and it isn’t getting better. This deal requires that Chinese government-owned companies be treated exactly the same as Canadian companies operating in Canada. Once in force, it lasts a minimum of 15 years. If a future government wants to get out of it, a one year notice is required – and even once the treaty is cancelled, any existing Chinese operations in Canada are guaranteed another 15 years of the treaty’s benefits.

  1. Open bar for Chinese state-owned enterprises
The Canada-China Investment Treaty means easier takeovers of Canadian assets, especially in the resource sector. In the context of the possible takeover of Nexen by the Chinese National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC), it is crucial that we collectively pause to consider the wisdom of granting Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs) such an easy access to our natural resources. (that was fait accomplit)
  1. The right for China to claim damages over Canadian laws
The Canada-China Investment Treaty allows Chinese companies (including state-owned enterprises) to sue the Government of Canada over decisions that can limit or reduce their expectation of profits. In treaty language, this is called “tantamount to expropriation.” China can claim damages against Canada for decisions at the municipal, provincial, territorial or federal level. Even decisions of our courts can give rise to damages. The damage claims start with six months of diplomatic negotiation. If that fails, damage claims move to arbitration – behind closed doors
  2. Secret hearings
The Canada-China Investment Treaty would allow Chinese investors to sue Canada outside of Canadian courts. Special arbitrators would take the decisions. These arbitrators, unlike judges, do not have secure tenures or set salaries. Their decision cannot be subject to judicial review. And the arbitrations are to be secret. Even the fact they are happening is to be secret.
  3. Limit right to be heard
Only the federal government is allowed to take part in the arbitration process. Provincial governments or Canadian companies, even if their interests are affected, do not have the right to voice their concerns during the arbitration process.
  4. China’s obsession for secrecy
The Canada-China Investment Agreement makes Chinese lawsuits secret . At any time, we will not know if we are being sued and who will decide the case. We will not know what our government is saying on our behalf. We will not know if Canada has been ordered to change government decisions. This is a complete U-turn for Canada who has always insisted on complete openness in investor-state arbitration, for example when signing the Canada-US-Mexico free trade deal.
  5. Restrictions on our use of our own resources
The Canada-China Investment Treaty requires that if, in the future, Canada wants to conserve natural resources (fisheries, water, oil, uranium, forests — everything is covered), and reduce Chinese access to these resources, we are only allowed to do so to the extent we limit our own use of those natural resources.”

This is but one example of the many treaties and trade agreements our government is signing with countries around the globe and goes largely un-scrutinized and un-heard of.

Although reading this email will not entitle you to some form of free monetary gain, the title, although partially implanted as an email opening enticement, is not entirely in-accurate. Commercial Banks are allowed to create free money…

“I am afraid the ordinary citizen will not like to be told that the banks can and do create money. And they who control the credit of the nation direct the policy of Governments and hold in the hollow of their hand the destiny of the people.” Reginald McKenna, as Chairman of the Midland Bank, addressing stockholders in 1924.

What we call our “money” in Canada, is actually created out of thin air by commercial banks and financial institutions via loans. Every time an individual, or a municipality or the provincial or federal government borrows money from a bank, this money is created from the loan…a simple entry on a computer and voila, brand new Canadian currency. It is utterly insane that we let commercial banks create our money when we as a country can create our own money interest free. Our money system is robbing us of our entire wealth at the hands of international bankers and it is shameful.

“Until the control of the issue of currency and credit is restored to government and recognized as its most sacred responsibility, all talk of the sovereignty of parliament and of democracy is idle and futile.” William Lyon Mackenzie King

Canada owes approximately $750 Billion dollars to banks and received approx. $75 Billion in return. In other words, we owe banks about $675 Billion dollars to commercial banks for the simple service of supplying us with a system of money. Since the interest is not created then it is impossible to pay back and the debt increases which means you must borrow more money to inject into the system, which creates more debt which means more interest…….well, you can see that it is no better than a pyramid scheme.

“It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and money system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.” Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company.

The CBC, in my opinion, is and has been a corporate and political tool and servant to the international banking community which truly runs the country and our government.

Although we do somewhat cover some of these subjects, it is usually lost in importance with other irrelevant subjects and never spoken of again, and for the most part, our sources of information are un-reliable, as they are part of the body working to keep information from the public in the first place.

We must entirely change the way we approach our newscasts. We must dedicate this time to bring to Canadians real, complete and factual information, unbiased and un-tainted by government and corporate lies. Canadians are still dependent and trusting of the media as their source of information and it is our duty to make sure they can count on us for accurate and fully researched information.

We must take the time and make the effort, as well as trailblaze a new way of bringing this information out to the public.

It is time to let go of the same old every day nonsensical repetitive and un-interesting non-news that make up our daily newscasts and get into the business of informing Canadians of things that are truly important to our lives and welfare.

Are we too scared to rock the boat in such ways? Are we slaves to political correctness and pleasing our lawyers?

I am hoping that this letter opens a door to our common sense and survival instincts to do what is right and without fear protect our country from the disaster which is looming on the horizon. We are in a position to make a real difference. To bring real news and information to our fellow Canadians and be fearless in the face of the corporate machine. The facts are out there. The people are waiting with open ears and trusting hearts.

Rene Normandeau

The following letter was written as a result of my dismay at the lack of factual content, and the blatant censorship of information during the recent “pandemic”.  It was presented to the CBC Ombudsman, the CBC Board of Directors and the Minister of Canadian Heritage.  I did receive a reply from the the Ombudsman stating that this was a matter of policy and should be addressed to the president and board of directors… which I had already done, but got no reply.

Open letter to CBC regarding Gross negligence in complying with CBC principles and Journalistic standards and practices.

15/04/21

To:  CBC Ombudsman Jack Nagler, CBC Board of Directors, Minister of Canadian Heritage Steven Guilbeault

RE:  Gross negligence in complying with CBC principles and Journalistic standards and practices.

The “Covid 19 pandemic” has caused a great divide between those who know the truth, and those who rely on mainstream news for their information.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation boasts on its website, of upholding freedom of expression and of its independence, and seeking the truth in all matters of public interest, yet has now strayed so far from these values, to be unrecognizable as a source of unbiased and truthful information.

The following quotes are found in the section “journalistic standards and practices” on the CBC website.

“• To reflect diversity

We are committed to reflecting accurately the range of experiences and points of view of all citizens.  All Canadians, of whatever origins, perspectives and beliefs, should feel that our news and current affairs coverage is relevant to them and lives up to our principles.”

There are countless numbers of Canadians at this moment, who do not share the biased views of the CBC, regarding this “pandemic”.

We understand that the “pandemic” is a conspiracy, to create acquiescence to a new form of tyrannical government for our country.

We understand that it is a hoax to convince people to relinquish their rights, in the name of safety and security, from a “virus” that has yet to be actually isolated.

We know that masks are useless, and long-term use is dangerous to our health.

We know that the vaccines are causing countless side effects, and countless numbers of deaths worldwide.

We know that lockdowns are creating economic ruin.

We know these things to be true, because it is not hidden.  The facts surrounding this conspiracy is readily available for anyone to see.

Why is this information ignored by the CBC?  These are verifiable facts, known by millions around the world.  There are tens of thousands of doctors, nurses, microbiologists, virologists, health care workers and scientists that have spoken out and revealed the fallacies regarding this “pandemic”, yet the CBC chooses to ignore their views.

Should any of these professionals promote the mainstream narrative, they would get airtime across the nation, however, if their voices contradict the popular belief, they are labelled conspiracy theorists and their views discredited.

“Our Principles

  • Accuracy

We seek out the truth in all matters of public interest. We invest our time and our skills to learn, understand and clearly explain the facts to our audience.”

“• Balance

We contribute to informed debate on issues that matter to Canadians by reflecting a diversity of opinion. Our content on all platforms presents a wide range of subject matter and views.

On issues of controversy, we ensure that divergent views are reflected respectfully, taking into account their relevance to the debate and how widely held these views are. We also ensure that they are represented over a reasonable period of time.”

“• Impartiality

We provide professional judgment based on facts and expertise. We do not promote any particular point of view on matters of public debate.”

If indeed, the CBC invests time and skills to “seek out truth in all matters of public interest”, why is it offering a biased and censored programming?

How can you claim to be impartial, yet deliver a one-sided, government approved, Big Corp inspired product?

I know for a fact that there is no real research, and very little time dedicated to investigating any subject regarding our government.

As a former television technician for the CBC, I have watched on an almost daily basis, provincial and federal press releases being faxed to our newsroom and be broadcast on the evening news without regard to its authenticity.  Any information that is received by provincial and federal governments is immediately judged as authentic, and will be put on air without question.

I have watched, as we ingeniously manipulate the news to fit the government narrative.

For example:  I remember a story regarding a Premier’s Conference being hosted by the Province of Manitoba, and the CBC produced a story on the subject for the evening news.

However, it became apparent that the main reason for their gathering was the NASCO International Trade and Transportation Forum, and the Premiere’s Conference was being used as a front for the media and public.

On the other hand, the information regarding this meeting was not hidden, it was even posted on the Province of Manitoba website.

It would be child’s play for any researcher to quickly glance through the regularly updated press releases posted on the province’s website, and subsequently choose the stories to be covered based on their merit of importance to society.

Oddly, the CBC instead chooses to be spoon fed press releases by the province, and since no one in the newsroom takes the time to read the press releases on the government website, the credulous and unsuspecting public, are directly censored and influenced, by government approved programming.

No one from the news department, and neither the journalist covering the Premier’s Conference, were aware of the event.  So, we covered one event and not the other.

The newsroom received a press release regarding the Premiers Conference, yet nothing regarding the NASCO meeting.  The Premiers were able to have a secret meeting with private and foreign interests, in plain view of the public.

Is this what you consider seeking out the truth in all matters of public interest?

The CBC conducted no research whatsoever regarding this subject, and in fact would not cover it, even after I had mentioned it to the journalist.  If the Premiers do not want to expose their secret meetings on the evening news, then by default, these should be the things that should be researched and covered on the news.  As you have clearly stated on your website, this freedom is what defines an independent press.

“• To protect our independence

We are independent of all lobbies and of all political and economic influence. We uphold freedom of expression and freedom of the press, the touchstones of a free and democratic society. Public interest guides all our decisions.”

This statement should more accurately read:

“We are dependent on government mandate, which is influenced by lobbyists, who work for large corporations.  We uphold suppression of expression and censorship of the press, the touchstones of a communist society.  Public interest is of no importance.”

The Federal Government has suppressed information that contradicts the accepted narrative regarding this pandemic.  Any information regarding covid 19 being a hoax, any information regarding masks being useless and non-effective, any information regarding vaccines and their innumerable side-effects, and many more, have been censored by this government.

The CBC has been completely compliant to government censorship, to the point where an email was actually sent to a number of employees, advising them to ignore any public demonstration and avoid any interviews with protestors, such as to ensure their messages are not exposed to the public.

The CBC has completely abandoned its own journalistic standards, and are now directly censoring its content, under the influence of government mandates.

The CBC has abandoned its mission to act responsibly and to be accountable, and has abandoned the principles of accuracy, fairness, balance and impartiality.

The CBC does not serve the public interest, it serves the corporate interest.

The CBC admits to being “aware of the impact of our work”, acknowledging the immense influence of television on the general public, yet is now in compliance with corporate interests who are destroying our country and our lives.

The use of the phrase “conspiracy theorists” as your only proof against the truth, is no longer effective, and has no place in serious dialogue.

It costs the Canadian Taxpayer $1.5 billion every year to fund the CBC, and what we get in return are lies and deception.  We deserve accountability from our national broadcaster.

Therefore, starting immediately, the CBC will cease using the term “conspiracy theory”, “conspiracy theorist”, and any other derogatory labels, aimed at anyone who does not share the mainstream narrative.

CBC will cover all covid 19 related demonstrations and will give the organizations and speakers involved, enough time on air to share their perspectives with the public, on the evening news.

Starting June 1st, the CBC will begin to alter its format to accommodate the alternative view regarding this pandemic and globalization.

A new, one-hour program will be produced daily, and aired nationally, following all local French and English news programs, and at least twice daily on CBC News Network and RDI.

The content shall explore alternative views, be unbiased and well researched, and shall not be an attempt to discredit the information, but to expose its truth.

Topics shall include viruses, masks, vaccines, nano-tech, trans-humanism, globalization, money and banking, naturopathic medicine, terrain theory, law systems, media control, religion, spirituality, education, science, weather modification, and more.

It will expose the real power behind governments, and their agendas.

It will expose the structure of the real world.

It will expose the true nature of the psychopaths who will stop at nothing to implement their dreams of a one world government, money system and religion.

It will expose the three city states.

It will be a platform to seriously discuss topics which have been labelled “conspiracy theories” by the media.

It is unacceptable that our national broadcaster is censoring information from the public, and we will no longer accept this treachery.

The CBC has willfully chosen to censor…

  • The true scope of adverse effects and deaths caused by the newly introduced mRNA vaccines, and the truth regarding past vaccines.
  • The fact that the mRNA vaccines being presently administered to the public are an experiment, and have never been properly tested on human beings.
  • The fact that mRNA injections contain nano-lipid particles/nano tech, which will genetically modify the human body and can be used to control our minds and free will, as well as completely erode privacy.
  • The fact that the “virus” has never been isolated.
  • The fact that wearing masks is ineffective to combatting this “virus”, and are actually dangerous to our health and our culture.
  • The fact that lockdowns are destroying lives and causing an economic disaster.
  • The fact that the government has used this “pandemic” as an excuse to strip us of all our rights and freedoms.
  • Demonstrators and their views.
  • Tens of thousands of health care professionals who agree that there is no pandemic.

These decisions, by the governing body of the CBC, to consciously censor information from the public it claims to serve, constitutes treason, breach of trust and criminal negligence causing bodily harm and death.

As a consequence of all the new restrictions imposed by our governments, we have lost the freedom of speech, freedom to travel, freedom of assembly, freedom of information, freedom of personal choice regarding personal health, and the right of habeus corpus.

The truth must be exposed at all costs.  The fate of humanity is at hand.  It is time for our national broadcaster to do its job and be accountable to the taxpayers who pay the bills.

The CBC has the responsibility to set a new precedent in media impartiality, openness and accuracy.  I do not believe that there is one Canadian, who would accept anything less than the truth and responsible journalism from its public broadcaster.

Therefore, we are expecting immediate action by the CBC, to the demands outlined in this document.

Sincerely,

Rene Normandeau

I uploaded this video as an audio narration of the letter that was sent to  the CBC Ombudsman regarding the gross negligence by the CBC to report all the facts during the recent “pandemic”, and as an additional commentary.
